PORK AFRITADA
A very popular Filipino stews that taste so good.Ingredients
| 3 tbsp | vegetable oil |
| 1 pc | medium potato, large diced |
| 1 pc | medium carrot, large diced |
| 1/2 kg | pork shoulder, cut into 2-inch pieces |
| 2 sachets | MAGGI MAGIC SARAP® |
| 1 head | garlic, minced |
| 1 pc | onion, small diced |
| 1 pc | small red bell pepper, large diced |
| 1 pc | small green bell pepper large diced |
| 1 pc | bay leaf |
| 1 cup | water |
| 2 cups | tomato sauce |
| 1/4 tsp | freshly ground pepper |
| 2 tbsp | sugar |
DIRECTIONS:
1. Sauté potato and carrot in 1 tbsp oil until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
2. Season pork with 1 sachet of MAGGI MAGIC SARAP®. Sauté separately in 1 tbsp of oil, remove and set aside.
3. Sauté garlic, onion, red and green bell pepper and bay leaf in remaining 1 tbsp of oil for 5 minutes. Add tomato sauce, water and pork. Cover and gently simmer for 1 hour. Add water as needed.
4. Add potato and carrot. Season with remaining sachet of MAGGI MAGIC SARAP®, pepper and sugar. Simmer for another 10 minutes. Transfer into a serving plate and serve.
